Our therapy sessions can play a significant role in the treatment and rehabilitation of addictive disorders. We may use a combination of individual and group therapy sessions to teach patients how to achieve harm minimisation vs abstinence. Addressing psychosocial adversities, financial affairs of the individual are also included as a crucial step in therapy.

  • In addition to psychological therapy, we use Disulfiram (Antabuse), Acamprosate and Naltrexone

  • Mind Connections Specialist Health Services have registered prescribers under NSW Opioid Treatment Program. We use Buprenorphine products (Suboxone, Subutex sub lingual preparations, Sublocade and Buvidal depot injectable preparations)

Gender-specific disorders

Our specialists can conduct Medico-legal examinations as required by 3rd parties in the process of an ongoing legal matter or injury compensation claim. Having fee approval for services before the appointment with one of our experts is necessary for these circumstances.

  • Civil & criminal matters (Issues can be very complicated in some circumstances).  We may have to decline some requests, and we will explain the reasons behind our decision.


We are well aware of many reasons which hinder patient’s attendance at our offices. Throughout Australia, our telehealth services operate almost like one-on-one sessions in our offices. We use modern technology to ensure an optimum experience at the receiving end.

Feedback from telehealth services indicates that most patients find it as the first choice of treatment. In addition, most of our patients reported they like having treatment in their own home, without the hassle of driving.

We treat:

  • Old age residents in Residential Aged Care Facilities (RACF) and their homes
  • Young residents who are intellectually and physically impaired residents who live in Group homes 

Specialised Psychological individual and group therapies

We provide limited services to RACF and group homes. We can deliver telehealth services to senior citizens in all RACFs in Australia.

Similarly, we use telehealth to deliver assistance to intellectually challenged individuals who live in group homes.
