Unfortunately, some patients exploit the system by making multiple bookings, resulting in long waiting lists. This behaviour also added more work to admin staff. The online deposit of $100 for your appointment secures the appointment with the chosen clinician. The deposit will be credited to your account when you attend the scheduled appointment.

Please note that the above deposit is not refundable if you fail to cancel the appointment 48 hours before.

The patient can call or email the practice to cancel the appointment, but please note that you must be 48 hrs time limit. You have the choice of keeping the deposit when rescheduling the appointment.


Please ring the practice to arrange the refund and cancel the appointment.

If you do not intend to attend the appointment, you will receive your full deposit returned to your credit or debit card.

Dr Antony Moonjelly has a special interest in working with young people and families from diverse cultural and linguistic background. Dr Moonjelly completed his basic medical training from the prestigious All-India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), which is a tertiary level centre of excellence in India before completing Masters in Medicine (Psychiatry) from the University of Sydney. He also has research experience and has worked in behavioural neurosciences research centre at Purdue university (U.S.A) and at Brain and Mind Research Institute (Sydney).

Dr Moonjelly is a Fellow of the Australian & New Zealand College of Psychiatrists, and he completed his psychiatry training at the Northern Sydney Hospital network. He has previously worked at Royal North Shore Hospital, Hornsby Hospital, Northern Beaches hospital, Cumberland hospital, and Blacktown Hospital. Dr Moonjelly holds Certificate of Child and Adolescent psychiatry and is currently also employed in the public sector, working as a staff specialist at the Ryde Child and Youth Mental health team.

Dr Moonjelly believes that human connections are essential for our well-being, and values listening to the whole story of the person in front of him before using the tools of modern medicine. He provides patients with a comprehensive mental health assessments and individualised treatment plans ensuring best outcomes.
