I am honored to be part of the women worldwide as we celebrate International Women’s Day (IWD) on 8th March each year.

 

The 2025 theme—March Forward: For ALL women and girls: Rights. Equality. Empowerment.—couldn’t be more fitting. These three words hold immense power but still require action.

 

Today is about reflection and looking back at the incredible strides women have made. The journey has to march on. Acknowledging the road ahead is equally important as we reflect on Women’s Journey in the Past. We all agree we’ve come a long way, but we’ve still got work to do!

 

Let’s Talk About Those Three Powerful Words, this year’s theme.

 

Rights.
Equality,
Empowerment.

 

Let me introduce a simple philosophy: Challenge minds, Connect minds and Improve the mindset of adults by fostering deep conversations and empowering individuals. And when it comes to young girls, the focus should be on growing minds. —because if we want a future of strong women, we have to start by empowering the girls of today.

 

On International Women’s Day, as we look up to role models, we celebrate the women who have climbed mountains, shattered glass ceilings, and redefined industries—from politics to science, sports to business. And, yes, they deserve all the applause in the world. But IWD isn’t just about those who made headlines. Today is about all women. The everyday superheroines. You and me.

 

For us, life isn’t always about standing at podiums or making history. Most of the time, it’s about juggling flaming swords while riding a unicycle on a tightrope. (Or at least that’s what it feels like!) But we do it—every single day—with grace, strength, and resilience.

 

Let’s Start With Rights

 

Every woman and girl deserves the right to live freely, safely, and confidently—without limitations placed upon her by society, culture, or circumstance.

 

Imagine a world where no one tells us what we can or can’t do.

 

A world where our future is our own to shape, and our voices aren’t just heard—they’re valued.

 

So, the challenge is not to stop at imagination. We have to work hard towards this goal. When we create a society where women’s rights aren’t just acknowledged but fiercely protected, we create a world where everyone thrives.

 

Now, Equality

 

Once upon a time, women were expected to sit quietly in the background.

 

Fast forward to today: women are running companies, running businesses, running countries, and, let’s be honest—running a little late to meetings because they are committed.

 

The journey toward true equality isn’t over, but every connection we make brings us one step closer. Organizing that space where women come together to share knowledge, support each other, and break down barriers creates the path for young girls to March forward. The brave soldiers who carved these paths in a land where there were no paths, the land kept us apart, now paved the way to a unidirectional path of equality.

 

Equality isn’t just about access—it’s about opportunity. And here’s the thing about opportunity: the world doesn’t get smaller when we create space for others. It gets bigger, brighter, and better for everyone.

 

So, let’s keep making space. Space for women to speak, to lead, and to be themselves!

 

 

 

 

And Finally, Empowerment

 

I believe empowerment isn’t a solo journey—it’s a ripple effect.

 

When we empower one woman, we empower her family, her community, and the next
generation.

 

The champions of empowerment constantly push us to reach further and think bigger.

 

So, what’s Next?

 

Today isn’t just about celebrating women. It’s about committing to real change.

 

Let’s not just pat ourselves on the back today. Let’s do it tomorrow. And next year. And the year after that. And maybe—just maybe—we’ll get to a point where we don’t need a special day to celebrate women because we’ll be celebrating them every single day.

 

To every woman who is incredible for being a woman —keep doing what you do.

 

And always remember: Behind every successful woman is a whole lot of unreasonable number of social gatherings with love and laughter and, most importantly, a tribe of other supportive women who lift each other higher.

 

So, let me invite you to support women and girls. Together, we can improve the mindset of future generations, connect minds across communities, and, most importantly, support growing minds as they rise to lead, innovate, and inspire the world.
